Don't Wait—Get On Top Of The Holidays!

Reader, can you believe that there are only 6 weekends until Christmas?

Time slips by so fast during this season. Soon enough we'll be barreling toward Christmas and tumbling ass over kettle into 2026. When things get hectic, it's always best to plan ahead and get started early. That way your festive spirit doesn't turn into a frenzy of last-second stress.

Why not get started this weekend by making some beautiful, thoughtful handmade cards for your loved ones?

Over the past month, I've hosted four Handmade Holiday Card Workshops on Foxsy and had a blast with our students as we designed many gorgeous cards. We've explored stamp carving, alcohol inks, watercolor, and heat embossing so far, and will focus on brush lettering and drawing cartoons in the coming workshops.

What a fun lineup, right?

The Handmade Holiday Card Workshop series has been a huge hit with our students over the past few weeks. It’s not too late to join! You can attend the last two workshops on Friday the 15th and Friday the 22nd.

Plus, you can instantly access all our past workshops so you can find the technique that sparks your festive spirit!

Imagine the look on your loved one's faces when they open the beautiful card you made with your own hands. Imagine the fuzzy feeling you'll have when they see how much love and care was put into it.

Don’t wait! Click the button below to get in on the fun!

Curious about what supplies you might need? Check out all the workshop materials here.

I hope to see you in the workshop, Reader!

Cheers,

Shelby

Hey Reader I wrote this at 11:12 pm on January 1st, the first day of 2026. All day, I've had this lingering anxiety about new year's goals and resolutions and whatnot. A nagging voice in my head keeps whispering, "You just keep failing. Why bother this year? What's really changed?" I have a feeling I'm not the only one hearing the wails of failures past right about now. We can all remember times when we made ambitious (or even modest) goals, only to fail miserably. That struggle—that failure...

Does this sound familiar, Reader? "I'm not good enough." "It's too late for me to start." "What I create doesn't really matter anyway." If those thoughts crawl through your mind, I want to tell you about Bill Traylor. Bill Traylor started making art when he was 85 years old. He had no formal training. He couldn't read or write. He drew on discarded pieces of cardboard he found in the streets of Montgomery, Alabama. And yet, his work is now considered some of the most important American art of...
